Drivers seat adjust every time???

I dont remember having to adjust my seat in my '08 X, but it seems in my 2013 Sahara I have to "pump" the seat up 2 or 3 times every time I get in. Is this normal? is it an air shock or mechanical jack for the seat height?

Your hitting the adjuster when you get out.If like me you slide out and step down your bumping the lever down getting out. It is a mechanical adjuster screw mechanism .The fix is to take off the adjuster arm and clock it so its pointing down so you dont hit it getting out.Took me a while to figure this one out as well.

Adjusting the lever and removing it sounds like a better idea to me. I never readjust it once it's good and the lever is rubbing the seat fabric.

I'm a skinny guy, and a short guy, so I also have to slide out. I don't come even close to touching the lever. This makes me think you guys need to empty some junk from the trunk if ya know what I mean.

I've seen a mod. What they did was to remove the seat height adjuster lever. There is a notch so you have to install it slightly pointing up. The guy took a dremel and made a new notch where it sat horizontal after bolted on. He said it still worked and didn't loose height from sliding out.

I used to have this same problem and then I found the Driver Seat Height Adjuster write up and did the same thing. Haven't ever had to adjust my seat since! Well worth it.
