Drivers seat sinks on its own - 2013 JK Unlimited

Anyone else have the problem of the driver's seat sinking on it's own over a few days' time? I have to jack it back up at least twice a week. The dealer says I must be sitting on the seat jack handle, which is automatically lowering the seat. Any fix?

Are you maybe accidentally hitting it when getting in and out or fishing for the seatbelt?

I had the same problem was hitting the lever sliding out of the seat on exit. I took the handle off and turned it so its pointing down and no more problem.

I noticed this on my 13 2 door also. I will be more aware if I am hitting the lever or not. Funny I never thought to ask about that here.

My 2005 VW touareg seat also does the same. I recently found out that the jack lever is just like the JK, so my thinking is that when you seat (i am <= 200lb) so i am actually rocking it when i am seated
i am not sure about your weight or height but all i am saying is that when you seat, you could be seating on the jack or the seat cusion pressing down on the lever.

Make a conscious effort to not hit the lever when you get in or out for a few days and see if that fixes your problem. I found that when I slid in or out I hit the lever by a tiny fraction which lowered my seat.
