driving and lifts

do suspension lifts really affect the smoothness that you feel driving on the road? from what i've heard, you feel every little rock that you drive over

yup, it depends on the kind of lift you choose, but even with a high end lift and good shocks, you do loose ride quality and it also completely changes the charactersitics of how your jeep drives and its handling qualities.

Depends on the suspension. My lifed Tj on 35's, rides nicer than my wife's lower to ground sport tuned car. But certain not as nice as our SUV.
