Drove her home today!!!!

Picked up my new 2012 Wrangler today almost exactly a month after I ordered it. Now I know that feeling you get when you can't wipe the smile off you face on the drive home. What a blast. This baby makes driving fun again! Without futher adieu, here are my first pics, bone stock (for now)

Congrats on the Jeep. Where are you at on the Eastern Shore. I grew up in Cambridge. Whole family was Watermen. My life took me a different route but I still travel there once or twice a year for Crabs and Scrapple. By the way the love the color.

That seems to be the best one-liner for congratulating someone for buying a brandy-spanking new Jeep I've seen!

Congrats on the new addition!

LOL, yeah that's the ramp where I put my boat in. The field is a farm field right next to the ramp. I was thinking on the way home "what would be a good spot to get my first pics???" Just popped in my head.

Thanks everyone for all the comments. I am in my 40's and have owned a lot of cars/trucks but I can honestly say I have never been this excited driving one home from the dealer. It's hard to explain to folks that don't "get" jeeps why we love them so much. A lot of women I ran into yesterday said stuff like "it's so loud, don't they get stollen a lot, the ride is so rough" - they just don't get it. We like that it's loud, that it's bouncy, it makes driving an experience, not just point a to point b travel.

Anyway, having a lot of fun so far. Just watched the dvd and tried to learn everything. I am impressed so far with the blue tooth. I love the steering wheel controls for everything. I like the ipod connection but I was disappointed in how long it took to recognize it - I would say 5 min or more.

Took it briefly off road into a farm field with some nice ruts to check out the 4WD. It's so effortless in a Wrangler. I used to take my Liberty off road and it did fine but always labored a bit. This vehicle just dances across the dirt. Love it! Just a joy to drive in the true sense of the word. I know I'm in the honeymoon period but I hope this feeling lasts!

I'm between Queenstown and Wye Mills, near the college if you remember where that is. Crabs and Scrapple - yes sir! Amen!
