Dual top option question

Do you have to take the hard top off to remove the soft top for the first time after getting your new wrangler with the dual top option? I just ordered my '14 and the dealer told me i had 48 hrs to add anything. I am strongly thinking of adding the dual top option and just began to think about how the soft top would come out. If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it.

At first I wasn't a fan of the soft top....I prefer the look and security of the hard top but the only Rubicons I could find had the dual top option on them so I bought one with it.....my first experience with the soft top wasn't good....it was too tight and I couldn't get everything hooked up correctly so I peeled it back off and put my hard top back on. A couple weeks later I was determined to get the soft top on there no matter what......now I have the top off 1/2 the time I've got my Jeep out. Takes about 5 minutes to pull the windows and fold everything up, it really adds to the vehicle to have the soft top. In September I'll put my hard top back on and then next April switch them again but I'm glad to have both.

I would do it again.
