Dual Top: Removing Soft

Guys and Gals,
Just got home with the new jeep. Has dual top option. Want to keep hardtop on for a while. Trying to remove soft top so the dog can use the back.

Not to sound totally inept...but the instructions are non-existent. I removed the four fasteners that hold the joints to the sport bar and poppted them up off the sport bar. But, now what? I must be missing something bc it doesn't seem possible to get the soft top out with the hard top on. hmmmm.....

You'll need to take off the hard top to get the soft top out, at least lift it up high enough to remove the soft top.

Check out this thread http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/fre...al-108224.html and get yourself a free copy of the REAL owners manual for your Wrangler. Everyone get's one copy free, but you have to call and ask for it. It's over 600 pages of light bedtime reading

nice! thanks. wasn't like I was gonna sleep anyway, first night with the jeep. I've already been outside twice to make sure I didn't leave any windows open, to check out how CG looks in the dark, and to make sure today wasn't just a dream. It's still there in the driveway. I'm in trouble, and I like it...

I unbolted the hard top and had two people lift up the back so I could slide the soft top out.
I love you scream name. My brother his a huge VH fan. I have been to tons of concerts with him. He bought a White mustang back in 92 and wanted to paint the same paint scheme as your avatar.

Hmmm.... I'm going to force two employees to do the same tomorrow so I can get my soft top out...thanks for the advice. Somehow, VH never gets old for me...'Eruption' still gives me goosebumps. Hey, when "unbolting the hardtop" is there anything else I should know...like unplugging wires or anything? Thanks in advance

How about for the third time? Have you seen this kid play?

She's 14, so be careful about falling in love again.
