Duratracs on!

285/70/r17 w/ MB Chaos 5's. Asked for black out got white out? Go figure. They asked if I wanted them flipped, but after seeing them I said I liked them. Actually maybe a little better with the Chaos which has some polished aluminum. Im happy!

Nice!

Only question...do you have a lift at all? Looks like those things could snack on some fenders if you go off road and stuff a wheel.

Thanks wolf... Lift is on the way. Got the TF 2.5" coil spring w/ the Bilsteins from northridge. Great deal from them. The kit, shocks and bolt replacement kit for under 8. Hope to get it by next weekend and install it then. Was supposed to have a lift on by now but you know how that works. Decided to throw the tires on today. Had them for a month!

That's cool...I remember you ordering them, now. I just wondered. It's gonna look awesome.

I think I like the whitewalls on the outside of your rig. Looks different.

Thats what I thought, wolf! I def like the blackout look! At first I was like WTF! Dont you guys listen! The man at the counter was like, oh s*&t, I screwed up. At first I was like flip'em. Then as I was checking them out and as they were about to pull them, I told them to stop. I had a feeling they would be different and the look with those wheels was kinda nice. Now I'm glad they screwed up. I'll know for next time to make it clear 10x over what I want done! But I think I'm okay with this one!

Are they rubbing your fenders without a lift??

Also any upgrade needed to go for a 285 over the stock 225?

I think it's cuz of your light-colored Jeep. A dark rig couldn't pull it off, IMO. Looks fresh on yours.

They'll rub if he goes offroad and stuffs a tire into the wheel well (or even THINKS about disconnecting his swaybar). But he's got a lift coming.

You can fit 33's on your Jeep without rubbing if you've got wheels with the proper backspacing, which would be 4.5" or less (the lower the #, the farther your tires will stick out.)

You may have the same situation as jonf30, though, with the fenders if you go offroad. But that can be fixed by a simple TeraFlex leveling kit (2" in front, 1" in rear), which will also correct your Jeep's natural rake.

Love your Jeep, The color is perfect, and the wheels look really good. I have the same size tire, but yours looks wider...

Also, how do you like those window deflectors? Any help with the wind that comes in cab?

Morning Guys! Dont plan on goin off-road until the lift is on, hopefully next weekend. No rubbing so far, took a nice ride last nite to get some dinner and everything seems great. I actually went into a empty parking lot and turned around with the steering wheel pinned and no rubbing!
Including you guys, I have had many nice comments about how they look. Everyone seems to like. I guess Im my own worst critic, as they say!

The AVS (auto vent shades) are awesome. I always like to have a window cracked for fresh air. You can leave them open in a downpour and not get any water in! The wind, I didnt really notice, but if you smoke, they are a must!(I dont!)As for the tires looking wider, I dont know? Maybe its the angle of the pic?

Looks great! On the way to Michigan going through customs, coming back into the U.S., I hit a Jeeper Border Agent who's first words were, "Nice Rubi!". He then spent about 2 minutes asking me about my Duratraks and then waved me through
