DV8 Beadlock

Hey guys just wanted to see what you all think of the new DV8 Offroad concept design for our beadlock wheels. We will be releasing these wheels for sale in a couple of months but still have time to make adjustments to the design. These will be a true beadlock (not imitation) street legal and tough offroad. Also the ring will not be shiny like in the picture, it will be a machined finish. Let us know what you think! We will also be SUBSTANTIALLY lower in price than any of our competitors

Nice! Good luck.
I bet you get a "hub-centric" question right away.
Also what bolt patterns will you offer?

Hard to tell by the pic but it looks like its a tight fit with the bolt heads and the recesses in the rings wich requires a thin wall socket and can be an issue when the rings get rashed up. Then again I am viewing it on my phone so maybe theres more clearance then I think.

What B.S. options and are they only going to be in black?

Good observation, from what is shown in the picture it does look like a tight fit, but there is actually plenty of clearance to get a standard socket in there so with a lot of rashing a thin wall socket should do the trick.

The offset will be available in -15, -12, 0, +12, +120

The lug patterns will be available in 5x127, 5x114.3, 6x139.7, 8x180

And the finishes will be matte black, and polished.

Sizes offered will be 17x8.5, 18x9, and 20x9.5

Yeah right now we are looking at a price of $299 per wheel for 17s. We have also partnered with REV wheel who have 20+ years of experience in the wheel industry and the owner started KMC so customers will have assurance that they are getting a well made quality product that works.

They currently weigh 27.9 lbs each with the ring mounted for the 17x8.5 we think thats fairly good compared to competitors that weigh 40+ lbs for the same size. We also have very thick rings that come standard, whereas competitors charge around $65 per wheel for the thicker rings.

Just wanted to update everyone on the DV8 Off Road beadlock wheel. Because of the responses we received on the forum, all of our beadlock wheels will come hub centric for JK Wranglers. Thanks for all of the input everyone! They will be available for purchase in 2 weeks! Please let us know if you have any questions.

I think a lot of people would love to see the following if possible:

- lower backspacing of 3.5" or so
- threaded inserts for the beadlock bolts, so they can be replaced if/when they get stripped

Would love to see a picture of the matt black ones if you have it

Hi zer0k,
The most aggressive backspacing on the beadlock wheels will be available very close to what you are looking for. The 3.5" backspacing will be the most aggressive offset we offer in the 17x8.5 beadlock. I attached a picture of the matte black beadlock below with a polished ring and a link to the page on our website.

Grade 8 threaded inserts are something we are providing pre installed on the wheels doing to ensure you have the ability to replace anything you strip but it shouldn't be a problem given the quality of the hardware.

Thanks again everyone!
