Proof that the pharmaceutical companies really need to find a pill that'll counteract stupidity.

Here's a rollover pic a few moments after the video was taken when the laughing turned into screams.

[Irony on] It would be even funnier if they drove it at freeway speeds in the passing lane on an undivided highway, during the rush hour...[Irony off].

I think the point was that it was a sales sticker. The key has a yellow temporary tag on it too, so I suspect this jerk was test driving it -- which is why he didn't care that he was damaging it.

I just had my '08 JKU fixed for the same thing. If I hit a bump while turning, even a little the front would shake worse than that. The dealership fixed it by replacing the steering stabilizers or dampener, or something.

Isn't it true that replacing the steering stabilizer only hides the problem? Thats what I heard on a Dodge forum. My 97 Dodge Ram has a DW.

I have a hard time believing that jeep did not need major front end work.

You stabilizer folks..... Need to read the DW Sticky.

That looks scary.

I thought the fix was to replace the factory suspension bolts with the upgraded and correctly sized bolts/hardware?

Correct. It will NOT fix the issue, only mask it.

The Suspension on the Tj is set up a bit differently.
90 % of the time it's track bar related.

Sorry, my last post made no sense. After you watch the death wobble video, other video choices appear. the one in the lower left corner is aimed at how to fix death wobble. The guy goes through a nice description of which joints can lead to DW, and how to fix it. I though that THAT video was actually helpful. I tried to embed it, but just succeded in copying the original video. Sorry for the confusion.

Correct...And if Chrysler doesn't get out in front of this issue, I smell a class action lawsuit lurking in the future...

From how I understand it, DW is not common stock/unmodified.

It isn't common on any properly maintained jeep--modified or not.

Chrysler's primary problems is that they don't properly train dealer techs how to diagnose and fix it, and they do not include retorquing the front trackbar bolts as part f regular scheduled maintenance.

DW has been around ever since manufacturers built vehicles with solid front axles with coil springs and a trackbar. The setup is inherently stable and strong as long as it is properly maintained.
