Without stealing someone's post, the question came up about how the build sheet should have trail kit listed. I don't see one. This is an early '15 and the build sheet does state "one of one". VIN does match.
It's not on there, I don't think it was on mine either. It will be in the service department, it's ordered separately in guessing. And not actually part of the build.
All HR and Willys have a "free" trail kit, even some regular rubicons (like mine).
Demand the kit from the dealership. At jeep.com there is a place where you can enter your vin for full build sheet and I the last page you will find the trail kit listed.
Just got mine after like 8 months and 5 trips to the dealer. The trick is its under the vehicle vin number in the parts dept NOT the part number. Get a manager invovled but it is there, and its all Warn stuff, so well worth it.:iamhappy:

That's true. The Warn kit is a pretty rare exception to standard procedures. Everything else is shipped inside the vehicle. The kit gets shipped directly from Warn. So rare is this, it would not surprise me that most people at a dealership might not even be aware it could happen. And at most (all?) dealerships, any parts arriving by ups/fedex/dhl/usps, whoever, get forwarded over to their parts dept.
Update. I called the parts department and gave them all my information, including the heads up about the build sheet. They saw what I was talking about and said they were going to call Chrysler and figure out what exactly is in the kit. So the ball is rolling!
Finally have the kit. Parts guy said now that they know what they are, and have numerous boxes sitting, they wait for customers to inquire about them. It's only been 11 months.
I know I owe a couple of you guys a beer or two. Thanks again.
I just bought one of these for 40 bucks off Craigslist. Nice kits.
