So I finally got the Fender Flares from eautogrilles installed and I have to say for most part I am really impressed with them. It was a pretty easy install, only issues I ran into were things caused by myself and not the fault of eautogrilles. I am running their front bumper and have had it installed since last may and I figured I'd take a shot on their fender flares. You can get this whole setup shipped front and rear for around $500 or less and they come with everything you need to install them. I did a few install tip videos and took a few pictures. If your looking for something that isn't plastic and want break the bank I'd recommend these, they are not like those cheaper real skinny flares, they do offer a little bit of coverage.
Front looks great. Do they have the trim light? Also can you add a pic of the rear fender from a side view? I would like to see how looks between the tire and fender.
They aren't required in NC or I have never failed a inspection or been pulled over for not having them. I have ran flat flares twice before, cut ones with no fender lights and I had no issues.
Glad they will help. You want be disappointed. Have a can bedliner ready if try to do them by yourself. I scratched two of them. Not to bad but you can cover them pretty easily with Bedliner. I'm thinking about spraying all 4 with some in the future, not becasue I am worried about them fading, just to flatten the paint out on them. I like a more flat black look than the glossy shiney look. That's just me, nothing against eautogrilles, I have their front bumper and the paint has lasted on it for over a year now.
Yeah I'm going with some aluminum fenders, going to order them on Friday. These are the ones I'm getting for the front. I haven't had the rears in for almost two years. I just hit the tub with some Bedliner.
I'm pretty sure all year stock fenders two and four door will match up. The guy I got them from had a 2012 2 door and mines a 2010 4 door. The only things they changed, as far as I know, that want match up on a two and four door is the side windows. Depending on the year the rear window want match up. Like a 07-09 rear window want match up on a 2010-2012 for some reason. Then in 2013 the changes it again and made the zipper different.
man, these are really catching my eye lately. looks good guys! I definitely wanna go flat fenders, but cant bring myself to spend 1k on the MC and PS models (although they are sweet).
do these fit pretty flush with the body lines? right now im considering either pulling the trigger or these or diving in on a diy chop of the stock fenders...hmmmm
I'd recommend bed lining anything you get from this company. The powder coating (which I'm not certain is true powder coating) started flaking off within a week of owning my bumper. Two weeks in, rust everywhere.
Well not sure about everything they sell but my bumper is over a year old I have on my Jeep from them and the paint looks as good as it did when I installed it.
Ive had mine on over the winter w/ no rust. BUT i coated along the inside seams with Fluid Film. Also once a week i took a rag and FF and wiped over the fenders.
Yes, I really like their design.. been looking at fenders for a while now and these seem the best looking.. even if they have another brand that looks just like these i would be interested.
Thanks
