It can be common if you have been driving really slow for any length of time. It happens to me when driving on the trails but if you are just driving around town then no it is not common and you should have it checked out.
It could also be the gas. Are you using a heavy ethanol blend, greater than 10%? If not, maybe there's a problem with one of the sensors. If it doesn't clear up soon I would take it in. It shouldn't smell like rotten eggs for an extended period of time.
It is most like because you drive at lower speeds it is a 2013 Rubicon with 11,000 miles and I seldom get mine above 50 mph and the jeep spends most of the time riding the logging roads of Northern Maine. On the rare occasions it is on tar and the hard top is off I get the same pleasurable smell that you are describing. It is normal and just the Catalytic Converter cleaning itself out. If you are not driving at slow speeds a lot and still get the smell then you may have an issue with it.

I do between 65 and 75 on an interstate for about 8 miles each way 5 days a week
