EGR Matte Black Window Visors Installed

Installed a set of EGR Matte Black Window Visors today. I could not believe how quickly they installed. Just clean the inside of the window channel and put the visors on. The front two didnt require any tape. Got done in about 5 minutes and they are installed rock solid.

I picked the matte black so they match the other matte black finishes on the JK. I may try Mothers Back to Black to darken all matte parts.

Very slick piece!! A little pricey but think I'll order a set for the JK.

Serious question... what do these do? I've obviously seen them, but never had them. What do they do?

I had similar for my pickup truck prior to my jeep. Its good when its raining, you can leave your window down a bit and not worried about getting wet inside especially when your a smoker. OR on very hot days, leave the window down abit when your gone to do something and the heat actually exhausts out and not be worried someone will try to pick the lock with the window down abit.

I've debated about getting another set for my TJ but everything I've seen so far glues to the full door and/or not in-channel. This would be special order if I got it and that costs extra for me based on location :/

This is what I associate them with, smokers so they can drive at speed with their window slightly down.

I run the WeatherTech version and love them. I leave the windows down slightly while at work. We all know how the heat builds up in a vehicle with a black roof and these let the heat escape without the fear of the rain coming in (should it rain).

OP, nice lookin' rig you got there!

The main reason I got the window visors is so I can leave the windows slightly open to help vent out the hot air when I park the JK.

Living in Texas with it's 100 degree weather its a nice feature to have and you dont crawl into an oven lol!

Plus nobody can see that your windows are open since the window vents are covering them.

Got them online at autotrucktoys with a 12% off promo code, free shipping, no tax so they came out to $74.

I use to wash my JK every week because of all the sand and mud that collects on it through the week. Ever since I started using a pure synthetic polymer polish it seems to stay cleaner for a longer period of time.
