Enclosed trailer?

Thinking about getting a 7x18' enclosed trailer to pull Polaris rzr (1000lbs) and maybe camp in rest of empty trailer. I'd love to get a toy hauler with living quarters but didn't want to spend that much. Looking at like this one. About 2400 dry weight

Make sure your Rzr will clear the door. I have a Ranger and it won't on my enclosed trailer without taking off part of the roll cage, but I think the Rzr is not as tall. Also, watch distribution when loading. It is very easy to get a whole lot of weight on the tongue with these trailers.

You are going to be at/over recommended tow limits for the unlimited with this. I have a 7x16 and it is easy to get it up to 4000 lbs with camping gear.

I put a 7 pin on my Jeep. I bought an adapter plug that had a pigtail for the 4 pin already on there and wired the rest. It's easy to run a wire down the frame. Etrailer has a video on doing it on a Jeep and they carry a duplex wire that is just the ticket. .

Rzr is 5'10" ya I'd put camping gear in front and heavy weight in back over axles. How does urs pull ur trailer? What gears, motor, auto u running? Urs have trailer brakes?

I have electric brakes with a Prodigy 2 controller. To be honest, it is no fun at all to tow. The Jeep has the power to get off from a stop no problem, but on the highway the thing is like towing a parachute. It keeps dropping to 3rd to maintain speed on the slightest grade (65). It pulls you around when semis pass. It feels like it weighs twice what it scales. I also tow a boat that weighs several hundred pounds more and the experience is much, much better. These trailers are just not meant for small vehicles IMO.

The one you are looking at has a vee nose and maybe that will be better. But I really think it is just too much trailer for the JKU.
