Engine Height Difference

Ok this is more of a WTF question. I have a 2011 Rubicon Unlimited, two other friends have a 2011 Sport Unlimited and another a 2009 Sport Unlimited. We were working on them today and when the hoods were up, we noticed that my engine sits almost three inches higher than theirs. I don't know if its a Rubicon thing or is there something more to it.

All answers will be helpful. Thanks.

Did they do a body lift? Or did you do something with your driveline to change it's angle?

What are you measuring ?
Total, you need to take the tires and possible stiffer springs into account.

To me this was not stupid question.
If their engine sits lower then yours , what that has to do with their body lifts ? Is it possible that body lifts are LOWERING the engine heights ?
At worst, engine height should stay the same.
Someone please explain !!

The engine is mounted to the frame, the body lift lifts the physical body of the jeep only. So the whole engine appears to sit lower within the compartment.

lol well a body lift, lifts up the body from the chassis. The engine is bolted to the chassis. If if you raise the height of the body, the engine will look lower when looking down at it

How crazy is it that the only 2 people in the world still installing body lifts are your friends?
