Engine light

Hey guys,
I just got into my car after work and I noticed that my engine light is on. My 13' Sahara is only 3 weeks old and I have almost 1300 miles. I cant think of a reason for the light to go on though.

Any insite would be great. Thanks
Mike

There's just no way to know without performing a systems diagnostic. Selling dealer/ authorized dealer should be your next stop.

You can cycle the key 3 times without starting and leave the key in the on position the last time. The code will be displayed in the odometer.

What Dale said - pull the code or take it to a dealer and have them do it. No sense trying to guess.

Some auto parts places like Autozone will read the code for free. It could be something as simple as a loose gas cap.

You have a new vehicle with a warranty.take it to the dealer & let them take care of it. Also, if you feel up on gas & didn't tighten the gas cap. That will make the light come on.
