Engine Light Just Came On

3,806 miles. Does that mean its oil change time?

Check the manual......it could mean a bunch of things but most likely not an oil change..

From what I've known, when the "Check Engine" light comes on, most of the time it is some emission related problem. But maybe that has just been my experience...lol

So, just have the code checked at an auto parts store?

Did you close your gas cap correctly? That could also play a roll in the engine light coming on.... just thought I throw it out there

Yup, just take it to an auto parts store and have them read the code for the problem and most of them will reset it for you as well.

Why not just take it to the dealer??? If something is wrong then they can fix it. It should be still under warrantee with only 3800 plus miles on it.

Just saying.......

Oreilly's checked the code (small vacuum leak) and reset it for me. I noticed earlier this morning when gassing up that the cap was loose. Mystery solved. Thanks, guys.
