p.s. no where else to say it but here. Love the jeep.
2 weeks + in and the love is increasing. Family friends think you're insane to even be discussing it. So thanks for this forum and outlet. One more time, loving the new Jeep !
So far the auto locking after a while is it speed? Puts a smile on my face every time. Just love the damn Jeep. Funny even after 22 years minus 2 weeks, took the old '89 er out for it's last run before decommissioning, and simply loved it. Fighting to start it after two weeks, cranking the carb, 'come on come on come on', firing it up, flying around the hood bouncing over speed bumps, just a hoot. Loved it. Felt kind of sad disconnecting the battery and pouring in the stabil.
Thing is regardless of age, a jeep is a jeep, there's no difference at the core, you can feel the essence of it whether new or old. Can't pinpoint what it is, the diamensions, the shape the size, something. There's the same natural feeling in either new or old. Having spent 2 hours there and 2 hours back in someone else's Toyota Runner, there's a such a difference, narrow confined, something all wrong. That and any other truck SUV that isn't a Jeep. Jeeps got something that is "right".
Sorry last time.
LOVE THE JEEP !
To that dude with the hot rod struggling with getting one, get rid of it and buy the jeep. There's no turning back. Not even sure I would know how to drive a car even if I won one!
