ESP on Ice

Im changing my mind about ESP in some situations. My driveway is pure ice and a slight grade. Ive been playing around figuring out how the ESP engages etc. It actually is sweet on ice. When the one wheel peel RWD occurs because I refused to use 4wd, the opposite tire engages giving the axle a locker type effect. Obviously the spinning wheel is slowed electronically by the computer via brakes but if you stay on it, the wheels hook up nicely. I dont think muck would be nice to this feature and one would have to shut it off to get moving with any momentum, but on ice at least, ESP rocks : )

That sounds more like the bld. I can't post the link from my phone, but if you Google Chrysler bld blog, you will find a very informative explanation of how it works.
