Excited to be back in a Jeep

So, back in 2005 I bought my first vehicle (TJ Sport Black). Loved it! Few years later moved back home (Guam) and had to buy a larger vehicle (Wife + Daughter). I bought a 2010 FJ Cruiser. Never had any real problems with it but I don't love it.

I'm in the process of getting back into a Jeep. Having a conflict on the 2door or 4door and whether I should get a Rubicon. The door argument will be between my wife and I... and she will most likely win and I'll end up in a 4 door (no biggie). But the Rubicon is the tough decision. I had a sport so naturally I want to progress up. But I won't lie... I don't go off-road much. Every weekend I go to the beach and it rains like crazy on Guam so there's a lot of flooding. Outside of that I travel roughly 10-12 miles to work and back home.

I searched and read all the discussions about LSD and Lockers, but speed limit on guam is 35MPH. It's really becoming a tough internal conflict for me.

Any advise?

Put up a faux argument against the 4 door, and then "compromise" with the wife to get a 4 door as long as it's a rubicon. Win-win.

Not really worried about my wife and the Rubicon. It's more of a personal dilemma...
