Exhaust recommendations?

My stock exhaust is rusting, which is expected with usual wear and tear of any vehicle, so I was thinking of eventually replacing it. Can anyone recommend any good exhaust kits, preferably that won't rust(if possible?) and that won't make the Jeep obnoxiously loud, but maybe even give it a mean grumble and that are reasonably priced.

I have a 2010 Wrangler Sport, 2DR, so whatever is compatible with my year.

I put a Banks monster exhaust kit on my 2010 2dr and i am very pleased with it. I also put their air intake on it as well. Both are very nice. The cai adds a nice growl to it and the exhaust makes it even better. It is louder than stock but not too loud. Overall i am very happy with the Banks kits. I chose them because i have seen the magic they do on diesels. I highly recommend it. Ill try to make a video of the sound and put it on youtube so you can hear it.

Have you heard a ricer before? This setup definitely does not sound like a ricer. I think it sounds much better than others, but to each his own. Ill try to make that video to show you what i mean tomorrow if i have time.

I am looking into the Magnaflo pro off road. I like that it drops in front of the rear axle. The sound clips of it are impressive. I'm not a big fan of tubing showing under the rear bumper.

Ditto. I hate that ugly can hanging out the back.

My Dynomax off road exhaust, another one that exits before the rear axle, will be here today. I'll get some sound clips as well so peeps can compare.

If you hunt with your Jeep I would keep that in mind, a friend put a magnaflow on his pickup and his hunting suffered from it, the deer heard him coming every morning and disappeared. When I am off road I prefer to be as quiet as possible,

Can't wait to hear it!! I ran mine without the exhaust when I painted it. I thought about running it that way for a while. Poor mans exhaust modification. Lol

I love the sound of my Borla exhaust but you said reasonably priced so that rules that out.

@nobndry, I'd love to hear some clips of it to compare.

Also, I had been looking into to the Dynomax, I did like the sound it produced.

As for the Borla, it is a nice exhaust kit for sure, but a little bit pricey haha.

Thanks all for the input, and please, keep it coming!

I also went with banks, monster exhaust, ram air Cai , took my first drive into work today. 72 miles, Def had some more pep, sounded sweet, found myself stomping on it a little more, at 70 and around 2300rpms you can only hear exhaust a little it's when you go over 2500rpms the exhaust really sounds perfect to me

My rugged ridge sounded much less rattle can than the Gibson. Sound is a bit louder than stock but much quieter than the Borla, magnaflow and gibson systems. I'm more into hearing the music and conversation than the exhaust. You don't hear it at idle or highway cruise; only when you floor it.

I think this is what I'm looking for. I really dont want it to be loud. Maybe just a little more than stock with the look of the dual exhaust. I found this on youtube and I think this is it.

The rugged ridge looks nice enough and sounds decent. Now the bad. I would mess the dual tips up in less than a week.

Which is why the AFE high tuck is the way to go.

X2 I just installed one of these on mine last Friday. Wanted a stainless steel exhaust which this is and didn't want much rumble over stock. This fits the bill perfectly for me. Had a MBRP offroad catback on my 2012 and it was just too loud. Turned heads too loud. This tucks the muffler further up under the jeep where you can't see it. Just perfect for me and the wife hasn't noticed it yet
