Extended warranty?

I know this subject has been beaten to death here. I have searched and read countless threads on the WF and I'm even more confused. I have a 2016 JKU and like a dumbass I purchased a warranty when I bought it. I recently purchased a TF 2.5 coil lift, TF Fixed front lowers and adjustable trac bar and 295/70/R17s. I will be installing next week. Regardless of my warranty I WILL be installing the lift. I am wondering what to expect from the dealership after I do this. I understand a lot will depend on the particular dealership. Anyone in the Phoenix area recommend a local dealership? Or know if it is possible to cancel my extended warranty? I purchased it 2 months ago. Thanks in advance.

I bought my Jeep at Earnhardt Chrysler in Gilbert. Only reason I went there was because they had exactly what I was looking for, a WW with few options. The price was reasonable, interest rate was 1.49%, negotiations were friendly, they delivered the Jeep to me 100 miles away. I have never been into any dealer for warranty work so I can't comment on that.

I purchased my 2013 JKR new, from Moore Chrysler/Jeep. They beat everybody in the Phoenix Metro area on price and their Service so far seems to be very good.

As for the extended warranty, mine is the Factory life time. As long as I am still the owner of my wrangler, I can cancel it at any time. But the refund will only be pro-rated out to a max. of seven years.
But these extended warranties all very, so I suggest that you read your policy, regarding cancellation!

Thank you Sir.
I am familiar with Moore Jeep /Chrysler in Peoria. I have bought a few vehicles from them and never had any issues. I suppose my service will be with them. I too have the lifetime warranty but wondering if they might hassle me because of a 2.5 inch lift? Most of the threads I have read here are from years ago and suggest I will be voiding my warranty. It's silly that I haven't read over the warranty yet. I guess I should start there.

You should be able to cancel the warranty, but expect the dealer to drag his feet on it or lie about it. They know they got you once, they figure they can get you again. Within 30 or 90 days, the reputable ones offer a full refund. After that it gets prorated. Check your contract, it should explain it. You almost certainly can candle it and get most if not all of your money back. Just remember that the dealer might be losing some kickback on it so they will want to talk you out of it.

Thank you. I can see the dealer not being happy with that. If it turns out that a little modification would void my warranty for things clearly not related to the lift, I will cancel it even if I only get a dollar from it. I will certainly check into it first before I do anything as Old Dogger suggested.

I have 2.5" rk lift and 35's I have had to have front axle seals replaced twice under warranty the first time at 36000 miles and just again at 44000 miles they never said anything. Know if you break a coil or blow shocks they won't help you but there are good dealers who know people are going to lift jeeps.

With all that has been said, can anyone in the Phoenix area recommend a dealership that cares and understands Jeep owners and their mods. All of the dealers are great while they are selling you a Jeep but how have they been after you bought the Jeep when it comes to warranty work?
