Question Factory fog lights

Just checking to see if you can use the stock wires for the factory fog lights for some off road lights. Not sure if the stock system can handle the load or not. Sure would be nice if I could.

I wouldn´t connect 100W or 130W lights to that thin stock cables.

They turn themselves off with more than a 45w load. You can use them to trip a relay though.

You could however install a relay and on the contacts of the relay use power directly from the battery, properly fused of course. That way the fog light control will still command the light on and off and no worries about insufficient wire size/capability. I'm an electronic genius at my job. And I love gadgets.

OOPS, so you did...how embarrassing!

Although...I did give a little more detail.

I wonder if we will have to draw a picture?
