Factory Side Step Install

Hi, all.

My boys and I did some wrenching on the Jeep tonight and installed some factory side steps. I really like how they finish off the bottom and tie the fender flares together. Install was pretty straightforward, too.

Now the kids won't have such a hard time getting in and out.

Thanks to DD293G, who sold the side steps from his Sahara.

Without steps:

Thanks for reading.

looks good! I was thinking of adding some too but can't remember the ones that look like there up side down when mounted? Those look great. Anyone know?

Yes, they will get cuts and bruises and you could be cited for child abuse. It's better to mount them inside.

Shouldn't be an issue. I know it may be considered a waste to some, but we didn't buy this to go off road. We wanted a convertible with all weather abilities and room for four. Not too much in that category. Plus, my wife always wanted a Jeep.

But thanks for the tip... just in case. I'm sure my boys will want it as a hand-me-down, and will promptly mod it out. Until then, it's pretty much a pavement-pounder.
