Factory trimmed pinch seam?

According to this article on AllPar, Jeep is trimming the pinch seams on 2013's: AllparForums: AN: Wrangler quietly altered for modders (updated) - Mopar News and Rumors - Allpar, the Chrysler Car Community

Anyone seen this on their 2013 yet? I will check mine out when I trim the Rubi rails at some point.

It on later 2013's. Mine does not have them trimmed, but the topic (and pic of someone's Wrangler) came up in the 2013 thread.

That sucks, my 2013 is still 90 degrees. Would have been nice to have a nice factory job to avoid any rust issues.

Trim it and blast some paint on it. Same as factory.

But they already own us and we owe them so much for the money they've loaned us kind of sounds ironic to me?

yes it is ironic but scary as hell. If they ever called the debt in which they will do eventually things will get ugly.

This was a snap to do. I did not even have to remove my tires.
01 Jack up the Jeep and support it from the strong bumper.

02 This is the piece your going to remove.

03 Use your cut off wheel to remove the piece.

04 The little pain piece removed.

05 Grind it smooth, Ospho it paint it and your done.

Mine did not have to be welded it is still held together by the factory spot welds.

It took longer to jack the Jeep up than to do this mod.
