Fairly New Guy with some ?'s

Hello all!
First of all you guys are great World of knowledge!

Ok so its time to give my mom my car and its time for me to finally get my JK! I am going to order it mid October I believe due to the color I want coming out then.

Here is what I want in the car, let me know what you guys think! Im still hit or miss on the leather as it would save me 800 dollars but you guys let me know what you think about the difference in seats (cloth vs leather).

Sahara Unlimited
Black Forest Green Pearl (Mid Oct. Release)
6 Spd Manual
3.73 Rear
Dual Tops
730N
Connectivity Group
Leather/Cloth?
Supplemental Side Airbags
Air Conditioning with Temp Control
Trac-Lok Limited Slip Rear Differential

Thats what I have so far!
Thanks again in advance for all the help!
Oh and its going to be my DD and mostly highway driving with some fun off road!

Thanks again all!
Pinny

Buy what makes you happy and don't pay more than 2% below invoice using the TL discount. Lots on the forum about it. Sahara is definitely more DD style.

Sounds like you know what you want CFD308. Leather interior is nice, but get the heated seats if you do, if you live in the north. I don't know if the leather seats always come heated or not. I've never had either. But I do think leather is nice in a daily driver. IF you get cloth seats, there are a number of nice slip covers out there.

Thanks for the quick responses, any difference in comfort of the leather vs cloth?? PAV first thank you for your service to this great country and second the leather now comes with heated seats (i never use in my car now). so far price is showing about 34800 have a 1% below invoice through my sister's company. plus NJ tax woohoo!
Thanks again guys

Make sure you bargain for 2% under.
Heated seats come standard with factory leather. If you get black leather, make sure you don't get double charged.
LSD is a must.

thank you cfd308 . . . I don't think there is a difference in comfort, but the leather is nicer if you spill something, easy to wipe down, and is just a nicer looking material. I am just now looking into slip covers for my cloth seats and there is a nice selection of polyurethane (is that right?) covers by different manufacturers, in different colors, out there. And actually you should talk to someone who actually has experience with heated seats, I do not. Anyone out there know more?

I also have cloth seats and I ordered red Jeep towels from Quadratec to protect them and to add a little color to the interior.

I have heated leather seats in my Liberty, boy was I missing something all those years. I was old school, thought leather and heated seats were a waste, boy was I wrong. It's something I'll always have now, well worth the $800. If you order leather they come heated with the Wrangler. I'm guessing that will change and they'll be charging extra for heated seats, even with the leather package. JMO

or get the heaters after-market for about $200... As long as the install is clean (meaning no Medusa wiring jobs) - you still get the same benefits (warm tush, aux heat, upgraded value)... My 09 as everything you mentioned except leather and I'm quite happy with it.

Got leather and heated seats in the Rubicon. Havent used them yet as it hasn't been cold enough. MY wife however had them in her 2003 Liberty Limited (leather seats) and they were nice. I never kept them on long as i thought they got too warm (jmho). Great for those frosty morns when its a bit nipply out.....better to have them and not use them than to not have them and need/want them.
