fastback soft tops

I'm looking into purchasing a fastback soft top for my 2013 unlimited, but i really want one that folds 100% back like the oem soft top. I was under the impression that the trektop nx did, but it doesn't. My whole reason for a soft top would be so i can fold it all the way back. Is there a top out there that does this? if not i might have to go with the oem look... even though i'm really not a fan.

Trektop NX

I've had the Trektop NX for about two months. Looks good, but fastback design really restricts your access into the back unless you unzip both windows and throw the rear window up over the back. I'm considering swapping for an OEM soft top (my hardtop is hanging in the garage for the summer/fall). I too was disappointed in the fact that it doesn't go all the way back like the OEM top. Also, it is a hassle to remove the whole top to go topless. The option to run with a safari top relatively quickly is a good, but the entire thing has to be removed (all 4 pieces) if you want the top entirely down.

The Trektop Classic is 2 pieces. I actually like it. The front edge of the top has snaps that connect to the top at the end of the back door on my JKU. The side panels are stitched into the top and stay put, the rear window comes out.

I enjoy my Trektop NX. Since its been raining a LOT in Georgia, most of the time I have it in Sunrider mode with only the top section folded back in case of sudden rain.

However, as long as I know I'll have a day or two without rain, I'll take the windows and/or entire top off. I don't think its much more effort than the OEM softtop but you do have to commit and leave the top at home rather than fold it back.

Sunrider is awesome. I disliked the process of folding the plastic sides in on the OEM top.

offroad hero has a pretty well liked soft top, though the shipping time seems to be really long. I have read as much a 6 months. Look it up though, just under $1000

That changed in 2009 or 2010. Nothing to fold in now. Starting in 2013, 4 door soft tops got spring assist. I've never used a non spring assisted version, but I have a feeling it must have been a best to deal with.

I rock sunrider 95% of the time. The thing I hate about all pretty much all softt tops is the hassle of unzipping the rear window and removing the window bar to access the cargo area.

I love my Trektop classic. I roll it back all the way when I have passengers, and use it in conjunction with my Spiderweb shade. Plus, it comes off easily when I want to ride around with nothing. As the previous poster stated, the rear window zips out. It's also about 100 bucks less than the NX. Not a fan of the OEM straight-back tops. Always liked the fastback look.

+1 on the Classic Trektop. I roll it back for the front passengers, but have the option to roll it back for the second row passengers too. I don't need the rear window panels to zip off like the NX.
