About to pull the trigger on the Cooper Discoverer MTP
LT285 /70 R17 anyone running this tire? Happy with it? Looks like good bang for the buck. Ive noticed serious price gouging for 35s period so I'm thinking the 285 is much more cost effective. thoughts ?
I bought a set of the 315/70/17 couple weeks ago. Great tires so far. Got them for 253 each here local. I noticed Discount Tire has a sale running this week. Might make the 315s more affordable for you.
I love how mine look but they ride like a MT for sure. Seemed to get better when I dropped the PSI to 30. I've only put about 1k on them so far, but will move up to 35's when these wear out (285/70/17). My buddy has some 35" Toyo Open Country tires that look great and ride well.
What did you end up with? I am thinking about purchasing 315/75R16 MTPs.
