Fender Flare question!

Those of with you that have fender flares without the reflectors on the side, have you ever been pulled over by a police officer and received a warning/ticket? I am looking into buying the smittybilt xrc fender flares and they do not have reflectors. Thanks in advance for all responses! Oh and if you have these fenders I am looking at buying, post up a picture if it's not too much trouble.

It all depends on your state's motor vehicle laws.
Heck, here in Arizona, fenders are only required on the rear of the vehicle and then only to keep things from flying to a vehicle behind.

is that something they really enforce ? around ur area? most cops are just happy you have working head lights , brake lights, and turn signals.. much less a reflector

I live in travis county in texas right now which borders williamson county...williamson county is the most harsh county in texas. they are extremely picky. was just trying to get an idea if anyone ran into problems. they require all parts of a car to be legal, even if it is the minor things such as amber side markers...maybe i'll get some and some how attach them to the underside of the fender flares. thanks for the feedback.

If you pull the reflector you'll get death wobble. Seriously I chopped my fenders and pulled the reflector. Never been pulled over, never even gave it a 2nd thought while pulling it.

That's why I keep my vehicle registered in Arizona, no matter where I'm stationed. I miss the relaxed laws.

Haha, I am going to get the synergy bolt kit to fix the wobble, I hope that will balance out shaving my reflectors. I love the look of the smittybilt fenders...I am going to just go with it and see what happens. I've never lived in a state with relaxed laws, but I visit florida often. Thanks for the feedback.
