Finally got my Jeep.

Well, i'm still pretty new here, the last time i was on i was looking at a sahara unlimited. however it had one to many miles on it. My friend and i went looking around from dealership to dealership. the second one we stopped at had a 09 wrangler unlimited sahara used 3k miles for 29k! the second was a 10 wrangler unlimited sahara used 4k miles for 32k! nahhhh no thanks i'd rather buy a new one for that. well as we where walking away the salesman comes out yelling for me to come back they were in the middle of trading in a 08 wrangler unlimited X... 17,500 miles, white, not the color i wanted but i could deal.. they wanted 25,995 for it. i paid (with trade in which i was 2k over what the car was worth) 24,190.76 I got them down to 23,890 and they thru in gap insurance dealer cost, also gave me 10,450 for my cobalt ss, which the car KBB was only worth 8-8,500 trade in.. i put 1,500 down and walked out 4 days after looking at the jeep!!

She is AWESOME! i love it! i have plans already! but need to save up some money first! hahaha..

Here is my first question the boyfriend rides motorcycle and tracks it.. i read that the jeep can tow 3,500lbs... whats the best tow hitch you've seen for this jeep? i was looking into it but found mix reviews. I'd rather have some more thoughts

ps. i've gotten the wave twice so i'm pretty sure i did a good job.

I have the stock hitch and it has worked out fine. I've towed near the limit and it is a little squirrelly but it is doable. The engine goes huff and a puff up steep inclines but with the size of the engine, that is expected...I downshift. Sometimes into 4th to maintain highway speeds. Overall, I'm happy with it. I didn't buy it to be a towing work horse and it does OK.
