Finally got one

Well, after a shitty two years (got disabled and my mom died) I got something to smile about (besides my wife and dad).

Sticker was 27,040.....first number he shot me was around 32,700, told him about the treadlightly program and he just gave me the 1% under invoice..no more haggling.

Picking it up Friday.

Cool!

And you won't have to mess w/tires & wheels for awhile (unless you want to). The Kellys are sister tires to the DuraTracs, so they should last.

I was hoping they would last a while, plus I won't be running them in the winter so they should really last me a while.

They're actually very good winter tires...I don't know if they're siped like the DuraTracs, but I run my DT's year-round up here in Wisconsin (even though this winter was the lamest I've ever experienced here).

Only thing you'll find better, I think, is Blizzaks.

I'm sure they are, but I don't want the salt eating up the rims. I'll just use the stock set up for the winter.

Oh, and because I was on this forum before I bought, I listened for any ticking from the engine (heard none) and checked to see if all the skid plates were there (all three were).

So I'm happy.
