Finally got to do some real wheelin in the JK today

Well today was the Fall Festival at Superlift Offroad Park in Hot Springs Arkansas. I went with two friends of mine, one who has an 07 wrangler rubicon and the other has a 70s model jimmy thats a dedicated crawler that is so awesome. Anyways I figured I was gonna get my you know what kicked in the dirt, but I kept up with them all day. I was advised to not steer away from twos because my jk couldn't handle threes (this park is rated 1-5, 1 being almost no 4wd needed, and 5 being near impossible even in dedicated crawlers), well they were wrong.

My jk went everywhere my buddies rubicon did, and with ease. I didn't even bother to disco. I guess 2 inches of lift, 33's and my rugged ridge xhd was just enough to keep up with my buddies stock rubicon. I actually suprised my buddy that has the Jimmy, he has an 04 rubicon, and is a very competent off roader, and he told me that his 04 has trouble making it up some of the trails that I did with ease. 3's and a couple of 4's all day. JK's are the real deal, just as capable as they have always been. OH btw, I have an 07 jk 2door with an auto tranny, and ran in 4 low for over 4 hours and had absolutely no issues with overheating. God I love my jeep.

Yep JK's are very capable.I had the same set up as you before and only problem i had was high centering.Sometimes no matter what line you pick you still run into problems but for the most part it can tackle almost anything.

Didn't get alot of pictures, but I'll post a couple. I was more concerned about wheelin than stopping to take pics.
