They are currently spec'ing another Wrangler for myself(this blue one was a bday present for my wife) My jeep is going to be based on a Rubicon with either Rock Krawler, Metal Cloak, Currie or AEV. They will do what I want. As far as fading, took delivery of Jeep in July and looks as good today as the day it was delivered. They guarantee it for life so im not too worried. The Jeeps they build for "production" are for the person who just wants to buy a jeep already done and ready to go that look good and purpose built for light offroading(My Wife). If she is happy with what is on the car, then im happy.
I was just describing what the coating looks like to someone who hasn't seen it before. I'm sure it provides great protection although I'm a little dubious about the benefits of Kevlar since Kevlar products are fiber-based and layered to provide their toughness. There's a Starwood in my 'hood that was done with Off Camber upgrades, is black Kevlar, and has a take on the old Renegade stripes in red Kevlar. It looks awesome! I like what Starwood does, I just wish they'd have a little more variety than all the charcoal grey, Smitty-fied ones that are out there.
