Finally pulled the trigger!

So I sold my '07 JK about 4 years ago to get something with better fuel efficiency and have regretted the decision ever since. Granted I had a hefty commute at the time, but man I missed it. After over a year of casually looking at Jeeps again I went and traded in my TDI for a 2013 JKU.
The dealer was trying to hit their monthly and quarterly goals and I waited for the last hour of the last day of the month to make the deal. I bought it for about $100 over invoice out the door including all taxes and fees. They also gave me a lot more for my trade than I was expecting (after much negotiating).
I wanted pretty much bare bones. I wanted the 6-speed manual. I wanted the manual doors/windows. I just wanted a jeep. I needed a 4 door due to my growing family. I'm looking forward to the eventual mods. Tires/wheels, rails, bumpers, winch etc... Any ideas on where to start?
Glad to be part of the family again!

Congrats.......need pics

As far as where to start that is all up to you......make a list and from that see what is the most important for the way you want to use the jeep,

Welcome back to the Jeep family! As far as mods go, I would start with what size tires you want to run and go from there. That will help you decide what size lift if any you will need. Once you get that part figured out then add the accessories like bumpers, rock rails, tire carrier (if needed), etc.

Congratulations!! I just got my new Billet JK last week after being without a jeep since last October. Feels good to be back in the jeep again.

Thanks! I'll post pics when I pick it up later today. What are some good rails you would recommend for someone on a budget? I'm looking for something aesthetically pleasing in a flat black. Must be a good value. I'm in Florida and it will be my DD. Not planning on doing any rock crawling- just the local trails to get her muddy and have some fun.
Also, where's the cutoff point for wheels/tires so that you need a lift? What's a good combination that doesn't require a lift but would look awesome with a lift? The mods will be done in stages. Thanks in advance!
