Digital Credit Union offers 1.99 APR for 48,60, and 72 months.

All you got to do is setup an checking account with them and have a payroll check directly deposited into it. If your not interested in setting up a checking account, you can setup a savings account with them, with no direct deposit for 2.49 APR.

I bought my 2012 last week and the evil entity known as BoA gave me 1.89% for 60. They are despicable but if they want to give me basically free money for 5 years then I'll take it.

Even 2.49% for 60 months sounds good 'Vyper'. In August, I got 2.99% for 60 months from HarborOne Credit Union here in MA.

I thought that was good so I took it on my '11 Sport "S" Hardtop and took the $ 1K Cash back,

That rate from the Evil Empire is impressive.....Maybe now they charge $ 5.00 a month for Debit Card use they can offer great rates!

US Bank gave me 2.7% @ 60 months. No fees, no need to open an account with credit union.
Credit scores of 818 and 825 respectively for me and the wife.

I got 2.94 with chase. Same deal no need to open an account just did it through the dealer. Probably could've saved a few tenths more, but got a great deal on my trade so it washed.

My credit union matches any published rate, and then give another 1/2% off.

So I was able to get 1.49% for 72 months.

Hi, sorry to jump in here as I don't have any info to post but I do have a question..I am in the process of getting a jeep...2012 is on order I have never financed a car before, I have always leased, is it better to go outside of the dealership for financing? I have state farm insurance and they also do auto financing...

thanks in advance
Hannah

Don't lease a Jeep. Check the residuals and find the best deals posted here.

Went through the dealer and got 2.49% for 60 through BoA. My credit score is 700+.

How did you pull such a low rate?

They don't tell you a lot up front, a lot of the lower rates are "if you qualify" and they'll throw all kinds of other things at you. Just be cautious about it...

And don't forget your local banks. Especially if you've banked with them for a long time then your more likely to get a better rate. People don't think about that all the time, you don't need to use a dealers favorite bank. You can call your own and find out what they can offer you. May even get discounts with already being a customer and you'll have less paperwork to fill out.

My score is much higher than yours would be the only reason. I'm top tier 800+.

My 2 credit unions could only offer me 2.49% which is as low as they go. BoA beat them handily. I'll take their almost free money and drive my jeep any day. I would never bank with them or any other major bank though for that matter.

Being retired could have hurt me a bit, also I used only MY income and not a joint (the bride is a retired school Principal), We also paid for a Wedding in July and that short term debt load (couple of 0% for 12 month credit cards to finance the wedding) could have cost me 1/2%. Not sure...... but you guys getting in the area of 2.5% look to be doing just fine......that BoA rate is freekin amazing 'j0nx' Way to GO!!! That really is almost free money!.

I was tempted by the 0% from the Big "C" but I thought the cash back was the better deal. I plan on paying the loan off in 48 but took it for 60 months.

Obtain financing BEFORE you go to the dealership!!! Then tell them what you have and they'll beat it. If you don't, you'll end up paying 2 to 4% more because they make money on upping your rate!!

I got 2.1% to finance 25K for 72 months thru my local credit union, where I already have a relationship. I was going to finance less, but at these rates better to bank the $$ and use their money.
BTW John Henry and Larry Lucchino BLOW!!!!
