If you're talking the 'fire wall' between engine compartment & driver's feet.....there's 2 easy routes; one to the left of the steering column about 1/2 up the wall; and one reported to exist I haven't searched for behind the glove box.

They have other wires and a rubber grommet and you can follow them pretty easily.

It takes poking a wire thru the excess but grommet sealed opening. There was enough room to run my fog light on/off switch from the DStearn custom wiring harness, thru without messing stuff up too much. It is about 1/2" diameter. I didn't see the guy do it but he said it was pretty easy.

I ran my wires thru the main grommet/boot on the passenger side. Its where the main harness runs thru the firewall. Crawl under your Jeep and look at the firewall underneath the battery tray.

Pop off the side panel of the dash (either side). You will see a foam filled hole the size of a nickel. Simply pass the wire through with a coat hanger.

Drivers side, under the dash, above where your left foot would be (assuming it is not right hand drive). There is a thin rubber seal, about a 2" circle with a crosshair relief cut in it. Very easy to poke through. In the engine bay, it is under the brake master cylinder. I'll post pics as soon as I get a chance to take some.
