Now there's a captain that should be fired. It's one thing screwing up your own rig, but doing that to a big $$ asset that belongs to the taxpayers and risking not only the rig, it's contents, and the crew is BS.

Hell they won't even wade into the water in the Bay Area because their "water certification" had expired and was not renewed "due to budget cuts" per the chief.

Took me a few tries to get that backwards flash player to pause on the ONE FRAME showing the elevated intake... it's level with the cab roof.

Looks like an ISUZU FTR. The air intake is at the back of the cab. All their gear is custom made. I guess they extended the intake

Pretty impressive!

edit: I type too slow

Yeah, the engine is probably sitting between the driver/front passenger with the bottom at about ankle level.

dunno on this one.....they're Aussies & they're working in a flood situation.

Considering what they do for FUN ...check out the GALL boys....they have a little collection of off-road RV mud & water follies....

It worked because they have the steering wheel on the correct side! Also, because it is downunder, the water is not so deep, because its actually upside down

Whilst it did look good, I'm hoping the driver had a REALLY good reason to put it all at risk.
