Firewall Penetration on 2013

Where is it on the driver's side?! I used the search function, but as usual, it was useless... I'm trying to wire the switch for my PIAA lights to the dash.
Thanks!

If you have an automatic there's a grommet where the clutch usually is. It's not even a rubber plug it just is a sticky type substance you can pop a hole through.

If you have a manual it's easier to go on the passenger side behind the battery. There's a nice rubber grommet there for ease of access.

It's a manual. I don't feel like tearing my dash apart just to run wires under it. I plan on running the wires along the factory loom that runs inside the engine compartment against the top of the firewall, then into the cab on the driver's side. Thanks!

I ran my IPF light switch wiring under the windshield cowl, along the gap in the side of the hood and over the door seal to the inside of the dash. Doesn't leak and I didn't have to drill any holes or risk damaging the grommets.
The side panel on your dash just pops out.

No need to tear your dash apart. Open the driver's door, and look at the SIDE of the dash. There is a side panel that pops off. Take it off, and look towards the front of the vehicle...you will see a hole filled with foam. Take something long, and poke a hole through the foam. A long screwdriver or drillbit works well. Feed wire through, pop open a beer and bask in the sunlight of your own magnificence.

Ok, I'm an idiot...I found the foam-filled hole on the driver's side behind the dash end-panel...I just thought to remove that, now...I think I'm good at this point. Thanks again!

Photo bump for future reference -- there is a similar "hole" on the passenger side as well (at least there was for mine)

I tried to push through on my 2014 but it is solid behind the plug. Any other ideas on how to get through here?
