First Jeep Lift Kit

I am looking to install a 3.5-4" lift on my 2008 JK but I do not know what is the best lift for my $$$.

I am wanting to spend 500-800$ and no more with our w/o shocks.

Can somebody please help me out? Maybe post some pictures and prices of your lift so I can make the best decision. Also, I want to wheel my jeep and the lift is not just for "looks". Thanks.

2.5 Teraflex w/ shocks $700
No need for that much lift... Tire size?

I am going to install 33x10.5, I like the narrow design opposed to 12.5

3 inch BDS with shocks gets my votes it's 740$ .. I netted about 3.5' from the kit.. Rides better than stock IMO.

No lift really needed but might rub off road.
3" and most likely will need adj. TB's and LCA's.
I would stay away from lifts that include them under $800.

Best advice ... Stick to a 2.5" the TF Kit can be bought w/o shocks for even less.
RK is also a highly recommended lift.

Good luck

You can find lifts of that size for that amount of $$, but most of em will be junk. A lift is not where you wanna be cheap.

vvvvv This guy knows what he's talking about.

Hey basecamper.... I am glad you posted this, how do you like the AEV 2" spacer lift... was the install fairly smooth (if you did it)... have you put it to the test off road? how'd it do?
