All - Ive decided to purchase 2015 JKU Rubicon.

It will be a daily driver with some occasional light off roading.

I like the look of 35" tires and plan to go with the 315 Duratracs.

Dealer is pushing the Mopar 3" or the AEV 4.5".

I've read a bit here and the Teraflex 2.5" seems to be popular.

What should I expect to pay for the 2.5" Teraflex installed?

Welcoming any/all inputs on lift recommendations. Plan is to purchase and have lift wheels tires rolled into the purchase.

Thanks!

Congrats and Welcome to the forum!!! You do not need 3 or 4.5 lift to run 35 tires. You can purchase the AEV 2.5 with correction bracket for about 1K and install at independent shops are around 3-700 install. The 2.5 is pretty "simple" to install and has everything you need. If you want 35' you would need new wheels or spacers because 35' are wide and stock rubicon tires are narrow. The 2.5 AEV will handle 35' tires.

If you go the Mopar route the "new" 3' is a very complete and robust kit, you wouldn't go wrong if you went that route.

Dealer is saying the Mopar 3" will run me $3900 installed.

Is the AEV 2.5" comparable in quality and performance as the Teraflex?

Is see a lot about the Teraflex on this forum...

Thanks again!

The AEV 4.5" is a great lift but it is overkill for your needs and will require other mods. A 2.5" lift will suffice. It will produce more than 2.5" up front which is enough to run 35" tires on rims with the correct backspacing.

Take a look at the 2.5" lifts from TF, AEV, RK, and MC. If you want to ogo the MOPAR route also consider the MOPAR 2" lift. It's ver y complete, warrantied by Chrysler and gets very good reviews and available from the dealer. Worst case go with the MOPAR 3".

Read through these threads this am...thank you!

I will likely go with this lift from the dealer.

I run 35" tires and just ordered the new Mopar 2" with Fox Shocks after reading all the raves.

I am looking at $1,600, installed by my Jeep dealer.

I will be getting it next week. Will make sure to post pix.
