first leak on a 2014

well i have 1k miles on it and have not even taken the jeep off road yet ( i know I'm babying the thing) well this morning i come out and find a small puddle on the ground. i checked all my fluids and all was well. best i can figure its from the driver side front shock guess its in to the dealership for evaluation and repair (i wonder if i can convince house hold six to let me upgrade the shocks )Click image for larger version

You are lucky (or lucky to justify shock upgrade) that the are zero signs of off road usage or that would be an easy excuse for the dealer to negate the warranty repairs. However, the dealer might come back with "This is an off road vehicle and we don't see any signs of proper off road usage."

Ok I think the new toy syndrome is wearing off. Reality is setting in owned the jeep for little over 2 months and have 1k miles on it. So far we have had the shocks replaced the radiator and two tires. I'm just hoping that this is not an trend....

I have had my JK for 4 mths, 3500 miles. NO problems, No issues. I have bought a lot of new vehicles in my life, and this JK has probably has had the least number of new vehicle issues that I've ever had. The worst was a 2009 Ford Ranger that lost all it's Trany fluid with less than a week of driving. You have to remember, the only folks who respond to posts like your's are the ones who have had similar problems. The other 99.9% just read on and go to a thread that involves their Jeep.
