Thanks for the tip FB! The closer bolts hold the hitch on the frame on mine. Took me 15 minutes start to finish. A 5/8ths spark plug socket worked wonders on those 2 top middle bolts. The bumper literally weighs 10 lbs!

this is totally awesome!!!!! I have the exact same jeep (sahara tan) and I have been wanting to slowly change everything to black accents and this is just what I wanted to start with but I had no idea how.. thanks for all the help!!!! gonna get started right this second =)
I'm really glad I found this thread. I have a growing list of mods I want to do to my Jeep when it arrives, but replacing the bumpers is lower on the list right now. I had no idea this was so easy. This will definitely be something I tackle sooner than later (zero cost and little time ).
I had to buy what packages they had in stock over here in Dubai, was surprised that they had any at all(only 4 in stock), perhaps these 2 packages include stuff Jeep dont need to put on so they save money:
ABDA Middle east equipment group
ABES Export equipment group
I am just bummed that it didnt have the remote start cause that is a MUST in the summer here, going to have to retrofit it soon in the next few months.
(havent found out yet if the Jeep starts "beeping" if you go over 120 kph, still running it in, only have 130 km on it)
Did u remove front bumper for silver removal...this is the only thing on my sahara that isn't black...how do u get totl the torx screws in the back towards the grill?
Im sure you did it long ago, but I used one of those little hobby type socket sets with the bit holder and it fit in front of the grill. I just took the front off and am contemplating the rear. Think I can get good money on ebay for them. Im trimming my cherry red Jeep in black, so it looks much better without those silver trims.
I've got a Mango Tango Sahara and I've been thinking about spraying the silver covers with the factory paint to match. I think the burnt orange color would go nicely with the black and it'll stand out from other Jeeps that are just solid black or still silver. Thoughts? Too "ricey"? I'm trying to visualize it. Only problem is that if I don't like it, they'll be a pita to sell, and I wasted time and $ on paint! Anyone have photoshop to render it?!
