On my mancation, sick and can't ride bikes. But luckily I've got a jeep! I'm staying in a buddy's condo on top of one of the passes here on the NV side of the lake. I knew there was the start of an offroad trail like 2 miles away because the trailhead is the same one I've started many a mountain bike ride from.
Turns out it's an awesome and not too crazy trail with lots of bumps and whoops (I assume for quads and dirtbikes) and a few rocks. Love the jeep offroad, this is what it's for! But damn I wish I'd have had time to install my lift before going. Rubbed fenders a few times.
Some gorgeous scenery! Sounds like a good time. Hope you feel better soon!
Before you Offroad ... Be Prepared! The very FIRST thing to do to your Jeep should go IN your Jeep - EMERGENCY AND RECOVERY GEAR!!!!! It may be the difference between getting home late and not getting home at all!!!!!!
