I had a 2008 Pontiac Solstice GXP. Here she is with the Cleveland Cavaliers Cheerleaders option.

What I miss the most about the Solstice is the power, handling, and the good gas mileage.

I had a 1997 Tacoma 4x4. I loved that little pickup, it was like a billy goat.
But, there was a bunch of maintenance / rapairs coming due, that equaled the bluebook value, and I've always wanted a Jeep.

I still miss my Tacoma, but I do love my Jeep.

I'm not gpoing back as far as some as it would take waaaay too long:

1998 BWM 328i
2006 BMW 325i (starting falling apart at 90,000 - turd mobile in the end)
2006 Ford F150 (finishing basement, needed a hauler. Sheetrock won't fit well in a
BMW)
2011 JK Sport and you'll have to pry the steering wheel from my cold, lifeless fingers.

Bought a 10' Jeep Patriot and absolutely hated it. When I test drove it was real fun but months into it I had finally realized what a piece of rolling turd it really was. With the five speed manual an 2.0L V4 it was horribly underpowered. Talk about the Wrangler bring underpowered? You ain't seen nothin. For the mere $20,000 I paid for it, I didn't seem to get much other then headaches.

After six or so months I finally became fed up with it and test drove the Wrangler. I fell in love.

I'm thinking about the first mod to my jeep would be a hemi in my 2011 JK.

I've been toying with the idea since I bought it myself but it really just isn't practical nor affordable for me. It would be sweet though! If it were me I'd rather drop a diesel in.

2008 Corvette C6 coupe & '98 Dodge Durango.

Traded the Durango on the 2009 Rubi. Now have vehicles at two extremes of the spectrum and love them both!

Not a first time Jeep owner (we owned a 94 Grand Cherokee for 9 years) but I am a first time Wrangler owner. I sold my lifted 2001 F-150 Supercrew and purchased a 2011 Wrangler Unlimited Sport.

I still drive my '07 Tundra and commute in my Corolla. Great truck and econo box. Jeep was bought as a recreational vehicle.

Before I owned Wranglers, I had a 300ZX with T-tops, and before that always a convertible.

Can you do an engine swap in a leased vehicle?

With the dealers permission you can do any mod...but check the fine print if you are leasing to own...because they may have the ability to take it back at the end of the lease regardless of whether or not you want to buy it out...and anything bolted on becomes property of the dealership!
