"Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates."
I hate war as only a soldier who has lived it can, only as one who has seen its brutality, its futility, its stupidity
Toyota Tacoma - 1st Owner, wheeled it close to 13 years. I've been driving a Jeep for 3 weeks. I won't lie. Every little thing I do in the Jeep gets compared to that Taco, and I haven't decided if I made the best choice.

I'm coming from a 2005 Chevy Colorado. 3 inch lift and 31 inch BFG mud terrain km2. The kicker is that it's only 2 wheel drive. Figured it was time for a 4x4.

In 2005, I purchased a "fresh off the boat" Triumph Bonneville T-100. I love that motorcycle. It is a "forever" bike. I don't plan on getting rid of it....ever.
In 2008, I purchased a 2006 Liberty as a winter/tow vehicle. That is what I'm trading in on a Wrangler.
I will say this 14 year old Acura/Honda quality>>>>>>>> 6 year old Chrysler/Jeep quaility.
I got my wife a 2012 Lexus RX350 last year, and I currently have a 2003 Audi A6 2.7t 6 speed that I just finished going stage 3 with. I bought the Wrangler so I wouldn't have to drive the Audi every day anymore.
Jeez ... I started with a 1988 Olds Delta 88 Royale my parents gave me in high school. I eventually bought a 2000 Sahara off the showroom floor, which I loved. Got married, needed more space and had a few cars since then.

Prior to purchasing my JKU, I had a 2012 GMC Terrain for about 4 months. Loved the Terrain as it was fully loaded and more luxurious, but we always wanted a wrangler. The fiance currently drives a 2012 Fiat 500 Sport. Before that, I've owned couple Camaro SS's...
1999 Cavalier Z24 Convertible (first car)
2001 Camaro SS
2004 Cavalier Sport
2000 Camaro SS
2006 Saab 9-3 2.0T (Stage 1)
2012 GMC Terrain SLT
Here's my 2000 Camaro SS baby that I should have NEVER sold...
2001 Volkswagen Golf. It was my first car, and I drove the wheels off it for 6 years. Buggy & unreliable at times, but tons of fun, and I fell in love with it. Sold it to the neighbor after I cracked the head & watched him repair it and pass it on to his grandson.
I still love that car.
Looks like a lot of ppl coming from trucks & suvs. I had a loaded 2000 volvo s80. Nice car but not very reliable. Had to replace the engine, some kind of computer module, and i swear the front lights are always burning out. Love my jeep tho.
It was always my dream to have a jeep. B4 I got it I had a 2006 mercury mountaineer for 4yrs. By far the best vehicle I have ever owned. The space the ride IT'S TOWING ABILITY. funny story, my husband owned a jeep while I owned the mountaineer, he would go out muddin and stuff....I would get a call that he was stuck....I would REVERSE into where he was and them pull him out...HAHAHAHA I loved my truck. So I put this on it just to bust his balls. I could see other jeepers laugh and shake their heads at it.
But the deal on the exact jeep I had always wanted was there so I jumped on it.
