Snow- i had an 07 TL type S, loved it in the summerr, but it was a bitch in the winter
Yep, mine is awful in the snow as well. After a couple bad winters, I picked up some blizzak snow tires. They really helped, instead of going 15mph slower, I could go just as fast and faster than everyone else.
I'm not sure what it is about the type s package, but they just don't like the snow.
I've got my first Jeep on order, so I hope that qualifies. One reason I am getting the Jeep is because my other "baby" is my 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP. It's 1 of 1,800. 1 of 78 in my color. Wicked fast, plus I've added headers, catback, CAI, and tune. The jeep will be my DD. I'll drive the Pontiac when it's nice.
So, I guess the G8 is both "before" and "during" my Jeep experience.

First three were bought used, all the rest were bought new. 95 VW and the 06 Mazda were my favorites, followed closely by the 93 tracker. My JK is the most fun, for sure, but it has a lot of "making up" to do for the bum cylinder head.
I'd bet money I'm the only person here that traded in a Saab for a Wrangler.
My prior car was a 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero, stage 0. Loved loved loved that car but with their bankruptcy and concerns over parts availability, I had to sell it.
Prior to that, not much special other than a 2000 Firebird convertible.
