First time with roof/doors off!

It hit 71 deg today. I couldn't resist.

I can't contain myself. I'm giddy like a school girl!

I'm jealous.

Just a suggestion, but check out the Plasti paint threads and see if you like it.
If so, I think your front grill would look awesome in black!

On the jealousy, and on Gonzo's Plasti-Dip grille recommendation. I think it would look awesome on your white Jeep. JMO.

Check out this thread:

Take the rest off and you'll need a drool cup. You're only halfway there.

No doubt! But, everything has to go back on later tonight and I don't trust my wife to help with the back.

Thanks for the suggestions on the plasti-dip. I hadn't even considered that before. I have some thinking to do...

First time Jeep owner here. Starting to warm up in the Northeast a little bit. Can't wait to remove the hard top for the first time. We where just talking at work today about it. I have to find a good place to store the hard top..

well, we were at -15Celsius when I picked up my new baby - and the soft top was installed under the hard top ... soo... add some winter gear and the kids and I had a blast bombing around the neighbourhood that had just been whacked with a snowstorm.

in all seriousness, we're a few months away from getting the top off regularly.

Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited that warmer weather is around the corner, but I was disappointed in our winter. I was hoping to get hammered with snow so I could see just what Bosco could handle, but the most accumulation we got all winter was about 1.5" inches. Couldn't even take my kids sledding this year!

That said, I'll take the warm weather now, please. Can't wait to cruise around with the top/doors off all day long!

Door Storage

Well, after taking the doors off yesterday, it became immediately clear to me that I'm going to need a good way to store them. Just ordered these!

Or you could buy some eye bolts and put them into the studs at the proper spacing, and hang them that way....

Eh, that's OK. The price was fair and I'll have the peace of mind of using a product that's designed for this purpose. Plus, I don't mind supporting a company like ACE. Seems like a great small business.
