Flashpaq vs manual trans?

I know based on other threads I've read it can adjust shift points but in a manual I am the shift point. So what would the performance tune do for a manual? Just trying to better understand it so I can decide if I want to add it to my list.

I have one and the manual. I needed to recalibrate speedo after tires, so it was a no brainer. But it does help towing and/or mpg, timing of fan on/off, raises rpms for winching (if needed). I would buy it again if I had to do it all over again.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.. but a Flashpaq is only for JK's up to 2010 right? Does the Flashcal needed for a 2013 with manual transmission do anything for MPG, performance etc?

Not yet. You would need to go with one of the Diablo tuners for that.
