good luck

Well shoes come in different qualities. You can buy good ones for $50 or so. Floor mats on the other hand are, well, floor mats. A cheap mat will do just as much as an expensive mat.

I have these and they are worth the money, as these will last a lifetime, easily cleaned and look the part.

I got mine from a Jeep Dealer on Ebay.

If by "cheap mat" you mean the carpet ones, then no, they don't work as well. They stain, they get wet, they wear out quickly, they absorb spilled liquids, etc.

By contrast, the Mopar slush mats are all rubber and very heavy duty. You can take them out and hose them off, they'll never stain, the cup spilled liquids to keep them off your floor, they look to me like they'll last forever, etc. If nothing else they sure look cool. I'm very happy with mine.

That said, there are other non-Mopar brands that are similar and may come at a lower cost. For example, here's a link to a bunch of different ones on 4wd.com (Jeep Floor Mats and Other Jeep Parts and Jeep Accessories by 4 Wheel Drive Hardware-RH3).

No, by "cheap mat" I meant cheap rubber ones. I do love my rubber mats and they work amazingly. I just think the mopar ones are more expensive because of the name

In that case, I stand corrected and agree with you 100%. The Mopar ones are always priced higher because of the name. But hey, if you like the Jeep logo, then they may be worth it to you.

Quadretec has the Mopar tiretread mats. They are actually 5 bucks a pair cheaper than the Quadretec branded ones. I have a set and they are excellent mats.

X2

I love jeep branded items and don't care about the cost (to a degree). I've had mine for a couple of years. They take a beating. I use the jeep for scouting outings and all sorts of adventures. They work well. I would recommend them. When mine finally do wear out, I'm going to get new ones of the same type. I got mine from my dealer, they were actually cheaper than on line ones...and no shipping costs.

If you spend 20 to 30K+ for a jeep, you can afford 50 bucks for mats. I just bought a set of five jeep branded pulloff steel 16" wheels to put my winter studded tires on so I can leave them on the wheels when I store them for the summer. They were 25 bucks per wheel. Thank God that people don't like the originals. They work fine. I'm more concerned about performance over looks. I would have gotten my Rubicon with steel wheels if they sold them that way. Try finding one of those on the dealer's lot. When it comes time to replace my stock mud terrains, I'm tempted to get another set of steel 16" pulloffs because the tires are cheaper for 16" wheels for the same diameter and then I don't have to worry about scarring them up on the trail, who cares if they say jeep on them. Anyway, I digress, if you like the jeep ones, get them. They are about the same price for a comparable set through on line sources. Yes, you can get cheaper rubber mats but they aren't slush mats...the ones with the lip on the edges meant to hold the water in on the mat rather than draining directly off onto the carpet. Slush mats are meant for...well....slush...but they work well with mud too.

I think the dealer gave me the wrong mats when I bought my Jeep. Mine is a 2007 and the floor mats they gave me look just like these "Slush mats". Since I cant use them and already bought the Weathertech, what is a fair price to ask for the complete front and rear set? Driver side used 5 days waiting on Weathtechs to arrive. Passenger and rear mat brand new, unused.

Check with your stealership. I saw the rubber mats in the JK 2010 Mountain Edition. Very cool. They were asking about $100 for both front and rear set

If anyone is buying the mopar slush mats I recommend checking to see if your dealer has them first, mine only cost 41 $ from the dealer and of course no shipping fee.

So here is the link ffor the Jeep Logo mats at Amazon.com.

Amazon.com: 7PC Jeep Logo Floor Mats Seat Covers Steering Wheel Cover complete combo set: Automotive

I am not expecting super duper quality from the seat covers. If they work they work.
The back mats dont have the hump to cover the carpet but that is ok. Just trying to find Jeep logo mats.

Your thoughts on this 7 piece set is appreciated!!!
