Florida Commando Green, Checking in :)

hi

i looked for an intro thread but didn't see one. i figured i'd introduce myself to the community.

pics first, of course.
here's how she stand now!

eagle alloy 027 with 285/70/17 Terra Grapplers (will be 35" MT's when these run out, and i do a lift)

Feed me... -_-

red spiderwebshades

the girlfriend's patriot limited '14 behind my JK

nothing else really notable except red grab handles and tail light cages. also, the brackets in front of the mirrors are for the mirrors i run when i (frequently) take the doors off.

Lift plans:
While i would LOVE to do a nice coil lift, i will probably do a small BB but i'm terrified. i work at a law firm and the ONLY parking is garage parking (6'6") and i'm cutting it close as is.

comments welcome

Welcome! Wasn't expecting the red accents!

Almost bought a red ARB different cover, but then someone said it would look like a pimento in an olive, lol.

Enjoy!

Hahaha. i just thought it would look like a GI joe toy i had as a kid. even my girlfriend was apprehensive at first but she admits it's not too much red. definitely borderline though and there will be no more red.

Those 285/70 grapplers look so much beefier than my 285/70 bfg AT's... Hmmm... time to buy new tires? Maybe.

West Sunrise...out by Sawgrass?

For me...let's see...in order...Lauderhill, Wilton Manors, Tamarac and Coral Springs. (Two years in Tampa while getting AS degree back in the early 80's.). My wife is from Miami and her family still lives down there.

We left in 05 and are looking at coming back but only as far south as Orlando. Lots more job ops for my wife in the Orlando area.

literally across the street from the sawgrass mall.

cool quick story. the night after i got my jeep, i turned onto sunrise blvd headed west (toward the under pass for the saqgrass/I75). as i turned, a white lifted JK turned in front of me and, as we passed under the underpass, he put his arm out the window and waved me forward. i thought this peculiar. he then proceeded to head straight into what i thought was going to be a a fence, but instead, someone holding the fence open had allowe him passage. i was late for dinner and had to respectfully flash my highs in decline, but i thought, "man, the jeep community are some cool folks." the sun had gone down already, too. i can nly imagine i would have had a heap of fun.

good luck to the wife, and i hope all goes well!
